Bio
Mark Grenier is an actor, director, and teacher in New York City. He has an extensive background in improvisation and currently teaches improv classes at Magnet Theater, where he has also served as the Training Center Director. He has taught over a thousand students in innumerable classes at many schools and organizations, including The All Stars Project, Fairfield University, Magnet Theater, Marymount Manhattan College, The Peoples Improv Theater, Polaris North Theater Company, and Stand Up Showcase, as well as at festivals around the country. Students have appeared in commercials, television shows such as Boardwalk Empire and The Colbert Report, in films, and on Broadway. In addition to studying improv with master teachers that include Armando Diaz, Mick Napier, and David Razowsky, he studied acting at The Atlantic Theater Company, The Barrow Group, and Michael Howard Studios and has a degree in film from Brooklyn College. He currently performs with three-person improv group Theory of Everything every Saturday night at Magnet Theater.
