Branson has been doing comedy ever since moving to Brooklyn from Washington, DC in 2008, studying under such luminaries of the stage and screen as Zach Woods, Peter McNerney, Shannon O'Neill, Russ Armstrong, Joe Wengert, Rick Andrews, Anthony Atamaniuk, and many more. He's one third of surreal sketch wündergroup The Junk Brothers, and has performed in sketch festivals all over these great United States. Pittsburgh, San Francisco, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, you name it. His film and radio credits include work with The Onion, WNYC, and Al Jazeera America. You can see him at The Magnet every Saturday with The Weave, a New York Times recommended show.
He works in elementary schools all across the greater New York City area as an actor and director for The Story Pirates. With Story Pirates he has performed alongside Jon Stewart, Kristen Schaal, Jon Oliver, and even Lou Reed. You can listen to him performing with the Story Pirates for SiriusXM Radio's Absolutely Mindy! on Kid's Place Live where he lends his voice to such characters as Orson Welles and a toilet.
He's 21 in that headshot. Please don't spoil the end of Battlestar Galactica for that headshot.
