Branson is a tall flightless comedian who lives in Brooklyn. He's studyed under such luminaries of the stage and screen as Zach Woods, Peter McNerney, Shannon O'Neill, Russ Armstrong, Joe Wengert, Rick Andrews, Anthony Atamaniuk, and many more. He's one third of surreal sketch wündergroup The Junk Brothers, and has performed in sketch festivals all across these great United States from New York to San Francisco. His film and radio credits include work with The Onion, WNYC, Al Jazeera America, and most recently an ad campaign with Brisk Iced Tea where he went around dressed like a lemon delivering tea to people.
He works in elementary schools all across the greater New York City area bringing the words and ideas of kids to life as an actor and director for The Story Pirates. With Story Pirates he has performed alongside Jon Stewart, Kristen Schaal, Jon Oliver, and even Lou Reed. You can listen to him performing with the Story Pirates for SiriusXM Radio's Absolutely Mindy! on Kid's Place Live.
When he's not performing, he writes a 2 Rude 4 Work webcomic about escaping from Heaven, which you should check out. Also, worth checking out is his Ray Ramone impression, which bravely imagines a world in which Ray Romano was a member of the Ramones.
