Branson Reese

Bio

Branson Reese is a comedian who hails from Virginia. He moved to NYC in 2008 and has studied sketch and improv with the likes of Rick Andrews, Russ Armstrong, Anthony Atamaniuk, Alan Fessenden, Shannon O'Neill, Peter McNerney, Beth Newell, Julie Klausner, Nick Kanellis, Joe Wengert, and Zach Woods.

He is the taller half of the sketch comedy wonder-duo The Junk Brothers, and the secret name-ruining third member of We're Matt Weir. He also founded The Great Samaritans (San Francisco Sketch Fest 2011,) hosts a monthly variety show at the PIT, and spends his free time thinking about Sammy Hagar's awful autobiography.

You can see him shouting in elementary schools all across the greater New York City area as an actor, director, puppeteer, teaching artist, and casting associate for The Story Pirates. With Story Pirates he has performed alongside Jon Stewart, Kristen Schaal, and even Wilco. You can listen to him as a featured performer with the Story Pirates for SiriusXM Radio's Absolutely Mindy! on Kid's Place Live if you're so inclined.
