Bio
Dan has trained in improv with most of the teachers at the Magnet, and none of the teachers anywhere else. His prior theater experience includes one acting class once, and the lead role in his fifth grade class play (he was the only one that was able to memorize all of the lines). His performance was so good that he was given the role of the bus driver in the class's next play about Rosa Parks, though he was unable to accept when his family moved in the middle of the school year. Eighteen years later, he realized that he almost had to play the white bus driver from the Rosa Parks story at a mostly-black elementary school just south of Atlanta, GA, and decided that maybe that wasn't the accolade he thought it was at the time.
Dan also enjoys computer science, math, snowboarding, and parkour. Feel free to talk to him about any of those.
