Kelly Buttermore currently writes and performs with Greg Wilker as a member of the sketch comedy duo appropriately named Kelly and Greg. Directed by Mark Grenier, they have performed three sketch shows at the Magnet, most recently in August 2009. Kelly has studied improv and sketch in New York since 2003, with instructors at the Magnet and the Upright Citizens Brigade. She has performed with various Magnet improv ensembles over the years, including Kid Cadaver, the Wisdom Circle, Dinner with the Fergusons, and This Just In. She also performed an extended run of her one-woman show, “Miracle Grown-up” at the People’s Improv Theater in 2005, and has been meaning to write a new one ever since. She hails from Mystic, Connecticut, but was born in Savannah, Georgia. Ask her about that sometime. It’s a pretty good story.
