Lisa Herring

Performer

Bio

Lisa Herring is a New York based writer and performer. She started studying improv and sketch at UCB in 2010 and has worked with a lot of really neat people. She's been in a few shows including Underground Americana, Here to Help, and the Dirtiest Sketch Show (for which she's equally proud and disappointed to have come in third), all at UCB. She also performs with her indie team, STEAK, in venues throughout the city and beyond (Queens). The proudest moment of her life was probably seeing a video she made screened in a planetarium.

Outside of comedy, Lisa is also an amateur carpenter and general constructor of things. She's very good at it and would be happy to talk to you about your custom furniture, puppetry or tailoring needs.

She also hosts a podcast called Couple Chat with Andy Rocco that you can listen to here: http://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/couple-chat/id533216117.

You can also follow her on Twitter, @lisabarracuda.
