Megan is a comedic writer, performer and Virginia Tech alum in NYC by way of Chantilly, VA. She has studied comedy at Magnet and UCB since 2010 and is currently a member of Magnet's dark and effed up house sketch team, Baby Shoes (Montreal Sketch Festival, Big Little Comedy Festival, Boston Comedy Arts Festival) and performs with the all ladies improv show, The Clubhouse. Megan is a contributing writer for the satirical womens news magazine Reductress.com and a former Broadway.com on/off-camera reporter. Her writing has been featured in The Huffington Post, Newsweek and on lots of random blogs she's never heard of before. She's a former acting apprentice of Seth Barrish and Lee Brock's The Barrow Group, but plays tons of moms/mad scientist cats with The Story Pirates in hilarious stories written by kids. You've probably most recently seen her in one of the Brooklyn Bagel & Coffee Co's in the city.
She once ate a Rice Krispy treat homemade by Janeane Garofalo. It tasted kind of waxy.
